I don't know about you, but in Word (using OpenOffice), emojis aren't saved after closing the program (and saving the text, of course)... but in OpenOffice, there's another editor that saves even emojis :PPPPPPPPPPPPP

P.S. Do emojis get saved for everyone, or not...?
