well, the best pirate translation for Fallout 1 and 2 is the one I have. Fargus. All the jokes are still there, and the plot is intact, so there are no losses in the translation.
You won't believe it, but there's a group of fans who also didn't like this translation... And they are making THEIR OWN translation! They've been working on it for 3 years and haven't even translated a small part of it yet (Fargus translated Fallout in 3 months), and the results of their work are impressive... They decided to remove GECK and replace it with another abbreviation, and they decided to give up on the pun with geckos... In general, sometimes hatred towards translators takes on bizarre forms.
