Hmm... it can't be that he... captured the church. After all, what about all this sacred stuff, crosses, rituals, holy water? He's a spawn of evil. He should be easily identified and eradicated, if that's even possible. It's more realistic to become the head of a country without having anything to do with the church, if, of course, the word "realistic" is appropriate in this context. By the way, I've never understood agnosticism. It's like, do you believe or not? I once saw a "religiometer" on a website, I'll remember and send the link.
