Is diplomacy necessary?

Gathering creatures from different castles (the first ones you come across on the way) and attacking the enemy without visiting a castle to acquire skills is simply tactless.

But it's cheap, reliable, and practical! And Battle Potion isn't relevant here; if your army is superior in numbers, the opponents will be overwhelmed! If not, we can always use a Happiness Potion. :-)
