The opponent didn't have enough money to buy an army; the money was spent on building two castles: in the capital, hydras with a castle, and in the second Fortress, wyverns and gorgons with a stronghold.

He didn't really have any money, even if he hadn't been building, he still wouldn't have had any. He only had 4 heroes and 5 wyverns, that's all he could buy by turn 135, and that's with starting in the center:D and he had to use the market to build, because your random generation somehow doesn't provide for having mines with +1:)
