Tactics for playing as the Dwarves.

Yes, light magic is indeed good, but instead of focusing on attack, I prioritize defense; I don't know, I just prefer it, but in this situation, focusing on attack is definitely better. First, I level up defense, definitely up to the point where it's ready; this is the most important thing. It makes it much easier to eliminate neutral creatures, and we don't need anything else for now. Then, we need to decide what to prioritize. If the game will be long, it's better to try to get education to increase magic attraction, as light magic consumes a lot of mana, but we can defeat neutral creatures even without it. However, if the map is small or there are serious neutral creatures that need to be dealt with quickly, we should first get light magic. I only take leadership after that, as it's not as useful without retribution. I would really like to hear how others approach combat, because online battles have been difficult for me lately, as I've been dealing with a slow internet connection for the past 4 months, and I only started playing as the Fortress faction after the Tribes of the East expansion was released.
