You create a descent to the water and place a town next to it, so that the green indicator lights up on the descent. And everything will be fine with the rope.

Either I don't understand (sorry for being slow), or it doesn't work. Could you please provide a screenshot? Regarding campaigns: I don't remember from which version, but in the editor, in the Tools menu, there are campaigns, random maps, and duel heroes. It seems that everything is available in Hammers of Fate. In Tribes of the East, it definitely is. There you can create single-player maps, place bonuses, and add heroes that transfer between maps...
