DIABLO(I,II,III)

The Cow Level is useful due to its high chance of dropping Runes and Rune Word base items, as well as Gems for crafting skill-enhancing items!

Runes and base items for them are one thing..., but it's definitely true that the chance of finding those coveted crafted artifacts is much higher than with ordinary monsters. Moreover, this chance increases significantly due to the sheer number of these damn cows :)! By the way, speaking of runes:
my hero (one of my few favorites) at the highest level - an Amazon - used a recipe with six runes in a cluster - it's really great! It's very rare to find level-appropriate gear with six sockets, but I guess that just makes it even better..., it's more satisfying to know that such items are not available to everyone, but only to the most persistent fighters against Baal and Diablo :)
