In your opinion, which hero has the most charisma in the campaign?

It's clear that Aranthir is acting on Ashan's orders to save the empire, but he must have some personal gain, just like Marquel. He also saved the empire, but he also established control over it and promoted his own cult. Aranthir should simply have a monument erected in his honor and be added to the ranks of Ashan's saints – his behavior is somewhat uncharacteristic for a necromancer. But again, this is just my personal opinion, no offense intended.

But didn't Aranthir have any benefits? After all, as everyone knows, Ashan turns everything to her advantage :D This is, of course, a joke, but Aranthir repeats this 10 times for a reason; there is meaning in it. But Marquel never saved the empire. If he saved it from anything, it was only from Isabel. :) And he also did a lot of nasty things. What about the resurrected Nicholas? What about the hordes of elves killed on his orders? And he also caused quite a stir in the empire itself. And in general, he was not as devoted to Ashan as Aranthir was, who, by the way, was called Ashan's chosen one. IMHO, Marquel is the only truly evil playable hero in Heroes of Might and Magic 5.
