Offline tournament for HoMM V – "In Pursuit of Power".

please don't consider this a discussion about the tournament.
but is it normal that when I start a new game, I get a Necropolis castle?
what about elves? it doesn't fit with the story, or can I choose my castle and a secondary hero with a starting bonus myself?
