Dear Ta Kotora. IMHO, the forum rules and what's considered appropriate are two different things. If there isn't a rule stating that a player's rating shouldn't be considered before they join a clan, then it should be considered, not based on personal opinion. If there is a rule, then I will do everything as required.
I also have a request - please include the dates when your players joined the clan. This is necessary when calculating the rating, so we know who joined the clan BEFORE a particular tournament and who joined AFTER, and who should be included in the clan's rating and who shouldn't.
Okay, I will do that when I have time. But I don't understand one thing... if it's more convenient to calculate the rating this way and it's necessary for every clan, then why wait for some clan to make a mistake and remind them about it? It would be better to send a private message to all leaders asking them to add the dates, and that's it. Otherwise, it's just chaos, some have it, some don't. There should be clear rules, not everyone doing what they want. For example: Clan of Gods - the rules for creating a representative thread clearly state what it should contain, but I don't see any of that, only a link to the website. So, if I want to see their roster, I have to go to the website - that's not right. The representative thread should be as described in the rules.
