I believe that when creating offline tournament maps, they should be sent for testing to one, two, or three (or even better, five-star) "experts" in the relevant part of the game, well in advance of the tournament. This is especially important for maps with a specific storyline. This will minimize authorial "mistakes" and even avoid them altogether.
