Preparing for the "Van Kanegem" tournament.

I reread the thread. Posts #122 and #152 seemed particularly insightful to me. Despite the difficult relationship with the author of these posts – Fireball – I would like to note that if post #122 had been read carefully, there would have been no conflict at all. And regarding post #152, it is still not too late to think and draw conclusions. Thank you to everyone who supported me. During consultations, it was decided that there would be no connection between the League of Zone Masters and the Van Cunningham Tournament in 2008. I am glad that there were people willing to engage in dialogue, during which certain points that allow for different interpretations were clarified. At the same time, I was surprised to learn that some people, whom I sincerely considered comrades, do not want to engage in dialogue, let alone make direct negative statements. Well, I, like many of my fellow players, am not used to the fact that, for understandable reasons, some people may make harsh statements, and sometimes even unfounded accusations. I would like to reiterate that I invited people to a constructive dialogue, for example, in a private chat on any platform, but not everyone responded. I am ready to start discussing possible cooperation. I think it would be good to create a Tournament Regulations document, which would outline the rules and approximate deadlines. In addition, a Chief Judge (or Organizer) of the tournament would probably be helpful. Perhaps a judging committee could also be created, consisting of judges from each stage of the tournament, plus maybe 2-3 more people. I understand that emotions have not been cancelled, especially since Letov passed away. However, it is necessary to realize that we are doing a common thing. A crack has appeared, but it is within our power to prevent a Schism and instead move towards development and consolidation. I hope for understanding. Maybe in vain.
