As I understand it, the Guild Inspector (GI) should represent a moral authority (an indisputable one in the near future, let’s hope). In my opinion, there’s no point in giving them any punitive moderator/admin powers, or duplicating clan functions – participation in tournaments, etc.
As a practical measure, a suggestion (though it’s more of a thought starter) – perhaps something like attaching a “black mark from the GI,” “stain of shame from the GI,” “disapproval from the GI” to a profile, and conversely – “not bad, not bad,” “good job,” “honestly, he’s great,” “simply a guru” – just a moral assessment.
P.S. Is it okay that it’s a bit tongue-in-cheek? :) In reality, the GI is a good thing.
P.P.S. After reading the flame thread, I decided to chime in here – it’s extremely important to avoid turning the GI into a DND (voluntary people’s squad) or some kind of “asset” – based on this, it’s unacceptable to have a “leader” (general secretary, editor) with authoritative powers – it should be a “primus inter pares.” This is all just my opinion, I warn you, so please don’t take it personally, including me.))
