Well, first of all, I want to apologize! It seems that I am to blame for everything. I started this mess... And maybe I really should have informed all nominees about being organizers personally! But I didn't think it was necessary to do so! Maybe I was wrong!

But.. I thought that the official organizers would at least occasionally check this topic, especially when new messages appear in it!
That's how I found out that forum members are interested in the tournament.
I also have a section dedicated to Heroes IV tournaments, which I am now paying MAXIMUM attention to, primarily because of the Championship ... But I still look through New Messages every time I visit the forum and choose what interests me besides my main sections! And of course, new messages in this topic did not go unnoticed by me. I think most forum users do the same. The "Preparation for the Van Kanneghem Tournament" thread, in my opinion, could not escape the attention of those who are somehow connected with this tournament! Especially since this tournament has become a hallmark of Heroesworld... After all, no other portal has a similar tournament..
So, I guess I naively assumed that I could find out all the information this way. Well, I admit - I was wrong!
And in this post, I apparently waited in vain for opinions…

Secondly: No one said that you, dear Qwerty, will be running stage 2! I wrote that

stage 2 can be run by Qwerty

… And in another post, I wrote that:

The second stage will be run by Qwerty; I hope he doesn't refuse!

But this does not mean that I have already assigned all the organizers! I assumed that these people would be able to run the tournament and hoped so, but I did not confirm it!
I still hope for your help and support!

Thirdly: regarding the role of LZMS in organizing VK. I do not diminish the merits of LZMS!
But let's just look at the statistics:

Yes, the idea of ​​the tournament belonged to LZMS. But the organization was carried out not only by members of this organization, but also by ordinary forum users. And when stage 9 was on the verge of collapse, I didn't see any interested person from among LZMS who would take over its management! No one wanted to run it! Of course, I understand that Heroes IV is a series in itself, which not everyone understands and accepts... But since they decided to hold a tournament for all parts, they should have gone through with it!
Only because of this, and out of love and respect for this series of games, I took over the running of stage 9! And besides the help from Alan, Kyle and Magnus (for which I am very grateful), I did not see anyone else's help! I had to work hard and learn from my own mistakes!
And now I hear that LZMS was the organizer of the tournament! I didn't want to comment on this for a long time, but now I can't keep silent!
And the fact that the Van Kanneghem Tournament will be called "Open LZMS Championship - Van Kanneghem Tournament - 2008" personally does not suit me at all!
The tournament should be called no other than "Van Kanneghem Tournament – 2008", as it used to be called, only with the prefix 2008.

And then let's analyze such a question: what does "Open LZMS Championship" mean?
Is this an inter-clan tournament? Does this mean that only people who are members of any clan can participate in it? What about the rest of the forum users? As far as I remember, there were no restrictions on this point! Or am I wrong?

And also, maybe someone can explain to me why this year the tournament showed no signs of life until the forum users became interested in its fate?
