Someone already mentioned the Wall of Swords and the Crystal of Secrecy – so, I guess I win about 80% of battles against the AI because the AI really likes to attack them when it can't reach your units. For example, I defeated an army of vampires (500), liches (200), and vampires (although they weren't really needed) with 1000 banshees without any losses.... Then, I use the crystal against archers; they can't shoot +))... Then, mind control works well on mobs when you need to replenish your troops, either through vampirism or resurrection. There's also a surprise tactic: when something like this happens (I call it the "Tanov's Combo" (with lightning)), we first use the Rune of Second Strike + then the Area Attack – whoa, I remember how I wiped out a friend's entire army with this (he was playing as elves and was defending with trees) with practically one strike. =))) (I was really excited back then. This was in Heroes of Might and Magic III; I'm not sure if it's still possible now...). Then, the vampire tactic with double vampirism really works for me... Archmages with surprise attacks also often did well when teleporting to the enemy's line of troops =)))) Then, I like to "move" the enemy's troops with the dwarves (using harpoons and bears) so that they line up for Tanov's Combo. Once, I placed mines when fighting hydras and ran away from them all over the map, and in the end, I defeated them only in this way. I also used things like dragon's breath and cyclops splash attacks. Well, that's all I can remember for now, because my experience in Heroes of Might and Magic V isn't comparable to Heroes of Might and Magic III...
Oops, I forgot to mention that in the battle with the banshees, there were also archers, about 1-1.2k
Главное в любом деле - руки + удача. а остальное не так важно=))
