It happens. I don't even know why I stopped playing as the Tower. I just decided one day that Necropolis was my thing. And that's it...

It happens... maybe evil just attracts you more than good?;) I'm just oppressed by the atmosphere in Necropolis (and in Inferno too)... the dark, gloomy tones are oppressive and don't give a sense of freedom... In this sense, in Heroes of Might and Magic V, Necropolis is depicted more consistently for me - in greenish tones (and green is also my favorite color...).
