I also gave the second game away to Andrey for free :D . The setup was simply excellent — two Griffin Conservatories, an external dwelling of birds, Cyclopes, Goblins, a Naga Bank, loads of crystals. On the first week, Bears and Orcs in the Stronghold, took the external bird dwelling, met Andrey's scout hero, but there was no restart on encounter. I planned to take the Conservatory on day 121, but I had no meat (50 Devils), only enough for striking stacks — 14 birds and 2 Bears, stats 10-3. I checked the Conservatory: 3-4 Angels with a growth stack. What an idiot, why did I go in when there was a Naga Bank with 10-15 Nagas right next to it? Should have taken that first, then gone into the Conservatory with meat. In short, I died bravely, but stupidly there :)
But the third game was just right. We played gloriously. On my respawn I had an external dwelling of Gorgons, Flies, Wyverns, and a native secondary town (I only took it on day 2, though, because the external Wyvern dwelling, which was on the road, was guarded by 20-49 of those same Faerie Dragons, who were also guarding some useless artifact). Result of the first week — everything except Hydras in the castle, took the external Gorgon and Dragonfly dwellings, broke through to the adjacent secondary town through wasteland, revealed a Conservatory there, and another one revealed on my respawn. At the start of the second week, I broke through to my native secondary town, there were three external Lizard dwellings (I only took one until the very end of the game, the others were far away and guarded, and I didn't have enough heroes to collect them all:) ) — Black Dragons, so I'm not expecting a magic rush from here :D On the third week, I took the external Wyvern dwelling, the Conservatories, and went into the Treasure Cave through the adjacent secondary town. Collected some Beehives there, a Sword and Shield +5/+5, no Dragon Utopia visible  . Went into another Treasure Cave, nothing there either, but in the very corner I revealed a Utopia, apparently the only one on the map. Took it, got a Shield +4 to all stats and a Torso +4/4 Atk/Def. The opponent came out of the Dungeon, which was unexplored, and took my secondary town. He didn't come for me, and I wasn't in a rush either, since time was on my side. The second month was a plague month, I was very upset, because I forgot that according to the rules you can load autosaves. Oh well. I built 3 Mage Guilds in two castles but didn't find Anti-Magic, which ultimately decided the outcome of the game. Solmyr had 20 Spell Power already, with Control and everything. At the end of week 6, Solmyr moved towards me and stopped 1 hex short of my castle. I instantly flew in, got defeated, transferred, bought back, and attacked myself, because Water Magic was only Advanced, but I did have Teleport.
The Finale: Solmyr's mana was off the charts. My first turn — I hit someone with Wyverns forward, Teleported the Gorgons to the Titans to save the striking stacks from Chain Lightning. On his first turn, Solmyr cast Mass Slow, everyone kicks the Gorgons and a few Wyverns, but Taz is Taz, it's like water off a duck's back to him. After two rounds of throwing my entire force at him, almost no one was killed. After my 130 Lizardmen with the Golden Bow, Expert Archery, and +20% shooting artifacts killed 250 out of 500 Gremlins, Uran preferred to hit them with Chain Lightning in the second round, and only 2 remained ;(. But when my turn came in the second round, I cast Haste on the Wyverns, killed 20 of the opponent's 40 Wyverns, the Cows dealt with the Nagas (the Titans and Angels had fled). But starting from the third round, the Cows gave no rest to either the Titans or the Angels :smile52: Teleport only needs 3 Speed to reach fleeing Angels and Titans anywhere on the field. And then I made the biggest mistake, an unforgivable blunder on my part. When Solmyr had 1 Angel left, 30 Golems petrified by Basilisks, 6 Wyverns, and a stack of Mages (about 45 units), Solmyr resurrected 5 Titans and for some reason I got scared (blame it on the sleepless nights :smile28: ), and decided to buy myself out in order to finish him off later. I had 2 Hydras, 14 Basilisks, 40 Wyverns, and 30 Bulls left. This was just insane. Everything except the Mages would have been killed in the next round, and I would have cast Blind on the Mages. And that would be it! But I, the idiot, went and bought myself out. During the assault on my own castle (Solmyr was sitting in it), the Mage army was joined by the weekly growth + Genies + 80 Gargoyles. In the first round, almost all the Cows were killed by Chain Lightning, and the Wyverns got finished off in the castle. A Light spell of over 1000 also helped this.
Thanks for the games! I'm absolutely furious and demand a rematch :smile25:
