I wouldn't say so... The eternal conflict between humans (they are definitely the embodiment of good) and the undead allows us to understand that Necropolis is evil!

But for me, it's not obvious. Necropolis rules, but not as evil, but as neutral. It's the humans who fear them because they don't understand. And I believe in the undead. It's better than immortality - elves.
