What is your opinion about Heroes IV?

It’s good that the fourth game isn’t a clone of the third, but it’s bad that a clone of the third would have been better than the fourth. There are many, to put it mildly, questionable innovations that cannot be explained logically; it feels like the game’s creators didn’t know what they would end up with until the game was released. I won’t say anything about the AI; those who tried to play the game themselves know. Perhaps some of the ideas were good, but most of them were copied from Disciples, and since these games are too different, it wasn’t possible to implement them properly.
