How do you kill a summoned phoenix?

Which phoenix are we talking about? If it's the summoned one, then Necropolis with its undead creatures is the best choice:). If it's a neutral one, then defend the archers while attacking the phoenix itself (if you have a cold-slowing spell, cast it on the phoenix to slow it down:)).

I found another loophole, using Guardians on the Paladins...They run from a distance, and the hero finishes them off. I had 20 Paladins, they ran across the entire field (with Stone Skin), the hero's attack was 13...The phoenix had 660 HP and died in one hit. I lost five Paladins.
