Regardless! A Vampire with applied magic will be the most powerful unit on the map. Hmm... Messengers, you see, are high-level, and they don't always manage to raise even 3, unlike Vampires:)

They won't be the most powerful unit on the map; if they meet a proportional number of Titans in an open field, the Titans will defeat them in the 2 turns it takes for the Vampires to reach them.
