"The Will of Ashan" - "Heart of Darkness" [2nd campaign, 5th mission]

I can't figure out how to break the shield... I put the heroes in circles and nothing happens:(

Have you completed the other quests? You won't be able to remove the protection until you complete them; this is the final quest.
