I consistently choose only three tiers: skeletons – archers (I generally prefer archers), vampires – higher vampires (I like the old-fashioned, unblockable attack more than the stun ability), and zombies – plague zombies. And also Archliches, although I also try to recruit higher liches when possible. I take all the others depending on the situation or my mood.
