I can't resist going off-topic and writing about my favorites: Cliff Burton (a legend forever... you know what I mean), Geezer Butler (his bass in Paranoid is very light, but at the same time intricately beautiful), Steve Harris (can anyone imagine the birth of heavy metal without Iron Maiden?), Sid Vicious (master of playing on a muted bass guitar), Magnus Rosén (perhaps he's the least known here - HammerFall), Tolik Krupnov (Black Obelisk - in my opinion, the best Russian metal band), Alik Granovsky (Dubinina, no thanks).
