[HMM IV TOURNAMENT OFF] "New World: The Mystery of the Red Cube"

Based on my calculations, there could have been around 18 movement points left before the final move. But neither on the day of the victory nor when the map was revealed was this minor detail noted.
Colleagues, please let us know how many unused movement points you had left. It would be interesting to know if Psixxx's suggestion to count the remaining moves would have prevented the equalization?
