You were just calling them that! By the way, they also punished the heretical natives, and even then, only the Crusades remain on the conscience of the church, in which greedy Knights participated for the most part.

Don't you see the logic? Those who call themselves followers of Christ sow evil on Earth, but that doesn't mean that Christ = evil. Those who call themselves followers of Satan sow evil on Earth, so why then is the Antichrist = evil??? ;)
By the way, there are far fewer Satanists than Christians.

Well, someone has to do it.... You say to find God within yourself? I wonder how you would do that if you didn't suspect that He exists... There are only 2 options: either God would tell you about Himself (hello, kind doctor and orderly Vasya), or you would come up with some kind of force, like a house spirit:D

Why would anyone do that??? :) No matter what you call God, He doesn't become less of a God because of it. But then it turns out that someone invented a force, called it God, and tells everyone else about it. How is this God better than other Gods that live in people's souls? For someone, Satan might even be God, and he might be teaching him good things, and the person becomes cleaner and better because of this faith. Should he be forced into the confines of Christian doctrine?
Religion is a tool for manipulating the masses. It is used by those who crave power, and the church itself tramples on all of Christ's commandments (although many of them are at least debatable). Therefore, you shouldn't say that Christianity is good.

Fewer people died during the Crusades, at least because there were fewer people on the planet at that time....

Consider everything together ;) And you still haven't remembered a single good deed of the church in 2000 years.

As far as I know, you can calmly approach the priest of your parish so that he can release a person from fasting (if there is a reason for this, such as age, illnesses, etc.)

This is if the person wants it himself, but what if his head is so full of all sorts of dogmas? Maybe the priest doesn't matter to him?

If so many diseases come from abstinence, it's strange that priests seem to be more than normal (not all, of course, but not all ordinary people are normal either;))

2. Are you sure that all priests adhere to abstinence? ;)
3. And priests don't seem normal to me either. I can't stand looking at our Orthodox priests, from the Patriarch to ordinary ones. Emptiness in their eyes, a dull gaze, an indistinct, dreary speech... br-r-r... :(

And everything would be fine, but I haven't read the Bible much:D :D

So it would be better if you read it ;) I'm saying that you are using stereotypes that are widely used in church propaganda. ;)
