Consoles of our time.

I'd like to elaborate on my thought: consoles are improving and, in their development, are getting closer to PCs. If before they were just for playing games, now they are multimedia devices: you can watch movies, browse the internet... And here's another thing: the Xbox 360 is great because it has the Live service, but unfortunately, it hasn't been launched in our country, which means half of the console's interesting features are lost. Of course, there's a special way to do it – register, for example, through Australia... but I don't have the console, so I haven't tried it. And the PS3 will supposedly have free internet access, with the cost covered by advertising, but this information is old, so things might have changed. By the way, programs are appearing for consoles, thanks to the hard drive, and Microsoft is already planning to release a keyboard for the 360. Therefore, my opinion is that consoles are moving towards becoming portable, convenient computers. Time will tell what happens, but if Sony doesn't slow down, we'll see a new console in five years. :)
