I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but people have already started spamming in this thread! Take, for example, the post above mine – it's pure spam, because the user could have simply given the other user a reputation boost or sent a message saying something like, "You're right," or sent a private message. The same opinion has already been expressed about how the situation escalated and the guy got dragged into it. And by the way, I advise everyone to reread post number 3 by Arandor; he remembers perfectly well what happened a year ago with the reputation system (that's why I suggested deleting this thread. It was even disabled, but then re-enabled. Why? So that we could argue again? No, in my opinion, it's to point out to a person whether they are right or wrong, but if the person is stubborn, I advise not to lower their reputation (I'm holding on with all my might) – a flame war will start anyway.
