You develop the magic that you actually like, not the one that the Warlock is focused on. If you like darkness, play as Necromancers or Inferno. And in Dungeon, only summoning and chaos are effective.
That's true, but light also looks good, because Stone Skin (which can be obtained in defense, but taking defense for a Warlock is not very beneficial, and the chance of it appearing is 2%) is very useful, while Haven has few defensive spells, and also has Reprisal and Haste (which can be obtained in attack). But the chance of light appearing is also 2%, and there is no light in the Haven guild.
I think that Lethos against Stronghold is the best option, because Plague will effectively remove Fury, and you can quickly take Cursed Lands. Forgetfulness should also be helpful.
