What is your favorite Tier 2 monster from Heroes of Might and Magic V?

I love Fury units; they are strong little devils :) And the way they attack with their knives is a sight to behold! But I have a problem: I always lose them in the first serious battle after I get a hundred of them. I use them carefully, but everyone still focuses on them. So I end up with no more than 100 of them. Maybe you can give me some advice? What should I do?
