The release date of the expansion pack is approaching.

TE is the ideological successor to SoD, improved and more advanced in terms of balance and, most importantly, ease of play, and the absence of many prohibitions and restrictions, and the resulting loss of a number of heroes and tactics...

Ahem... Gynnar, please don't take offense – this is about the possibility of creating SoD with the TE interface.
We've already heard that TE is better than SoD, and that you should play it. Maybe there aren't many of us lazy people who just ride around on a horse with a mug of beer, but TE doesn't appeal to me personally – I play SoD and Platinum,
although I wouldn't mind playing TE. And also in WoG and everything else that I'm not unfamiliar with. But if the conversation is about preference, then I want a hybrid of SoD and TE.
There's probably no point in arguing here – the easiest thing to do is to make all the new features OPTIONAL, then there will be no reason to play SoD when there is such a hybrid.
