Fight fire with fire! - Place someone on the body of the slain phoenix. It's unlikely to resurrect. - From "Chaos Magic," use water spells. Preferably enhanced ones. Then send your infantry forward. This will be a diversionary maneuver. Create a phantom. And let the archers shoot at the phoenix.
