So, do they feed on their own kind?)))... I thought they fed using their roots, extracting nutrients from the soil!

What if they fight in the sands? Or on the snow? Where are the nutrients there? Do they feed on the roots that entangle nymphs (why isn't there an ability to eat archers' hair?)))))
