If the game is already glitching, is there any way to still resolve this issue?

In the New Beginning campaign, during the 2nd mission, I can't get to the Necropolis castle because a bush is blocking the way. I've talked to the monk, but the bush doesn't disappear. Is it possible to write a script to make it disappear? Or use a cheat code, but one that can be reversed later? Or is there another way?
