She looks at you – fire ignites in your blood, Your tongue goes numb, freezing. You cannot cope with love, You cannot chain her with an iron chain, And you cannot ward her off with a golden key, And neither anger nor agreements are of use. A glance shatters the soul into fragments, And yet, cherish every fragment of love. Two shores, like two wings, fly, Two hearts suffer with a single longing... *** When the love of two has united them, Merging all thoughts and desires, This force is unbreakable, This impulse is irreversible. Over the years, the feelings have not faded, Let each be in their own form, But, like two transparent drops, Two hearts, similar in everything. *** I beg you, for all my worries, Give me one star, Because I ask for so little, Just one, and I will leave.
