My observation is that the weaker a player is and the less they understand the essence of the game, the more negatively they perceive the tactic skill.
When playing online, tactics can create real miracles in battles with neutral creatures. And it can also be useful in battles against a live opponent.
Essentially, the only downside of tactics is that it doesn't work in special buildings like conservatories, utopias, crypts, and other similar structures.
