"Feeding spirits" is a specific tactic that can be used to increase the number of spirits in a neutral stack almost infinitely (in reality, after the battle, there will be no more than 4000 of them, although during the battle, their number can be as large as you want). This is achieved by attacking the spirits and sacrificing a large number of your own creatures to them. The effect can be further amplified by using the Mirror Image spell.
