A hero isn't invincible. If you choose Chaos, you have to sacrifice something. But an elf has nothing to sacrifice. They need everything: logistics, luck, attack, defense, and light.
Well, you can neglect the light skill (although it's a shame to lose that school). And I would add leadership because of the speed aura! But in general, it's unlikely that anyone plays against each race with the same set of abilities... so there is an alternative, it all depends on the player's intentions or intuition (many people like the combination of MACHINES and CHAOS).
Not really, SP increases proportionally to knowledge, and Warlocks, as you know, don't have as much as forest dwellers....
But think about it... it would be overpowered if forest elves were given spells and defense. And the spell that druids give to a hero is already quite powerful, and even a Warlock can't deal more damage with magic against 3 spellcasters.
