Did the graphics of Heroes 3 not deter you from wanting to play?

You know why I love old games like Heroes, Fallout, etc.? Because the developers didn't waste time on fancy graphics; instead, they focused on the game itself, primarily on depth of meaning, perfect balance, and other things that are much more important to me as a player. I play modern games and feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. Yes, the graphics are stunning. But there's no meaning... there's nothing in them that was present in games from 1998... Nothing! And honestly, this minimalism in graphics doesn't spoil the game at all; on the contrary, it adds a unique charm to it.
