Advantages of Mages over other races.

The Academy's strength lies in its minor artifacts. Imagine creating an artifact that gives gremlins +17 to HP, as well as luck and initiative. That would be amazing. And an artifact for Rakshasas, boosting their initiative and attack. Of course, at the beginning, artifacts don't have much of an impact.
Three archers, one of them level 7. What more could you need for happiness?!
