Who is stronger, those who rely on swords or magic? (Follow-up to the poll: Who has sufficiently powerful magic?)

Actually, there are some pretty good themes in the Forgotten Realms setting... but that's just a side note. It's a shame that orcs and dwarves aren't included in the poll. I'd choose orcs, and if runes aren't magic, then dwarves. Even dwarves are stronger if runes aren't magic. Nazg, who are Babrby and Dwarfs?
