I think the downside of the Academy is that no creature can deal very high damage to kill in one hit (like, for example, elven archers). But there's magic for every taste! And there's a lot of knowledge, and you can boost your spellcasting with artifacts! And the artifact shop is a good advantage! Mini-artifacts are also a good thing!
