The "mobs" you mentioned don't take into account such minor and subtle details as the fact that magi hit neighboring units with their spell and often end up next to each other, which makes the "mobs" very vulnerable. You don't really know the "psychology" of "mobs." They are very predictable.
I'm also curious how you'll get an army of 100 demons in 3-4 weeks? Or am I missing something?
In my opinion, the prices are high for Inferno. Imps are very expensive, devils and archdevils too, I'm sorry I don't remember about the others. But imps and devils are definitely expensive for their stats and level.

Well... I read it, I read it... tactics. It's written... but the topic has 6-7 pages. Just questions and insults about the Castle. :).
It all depends on the map.
For example, when playing with Chaos rules, on the 12XM6 template (I don't remember exactly, it definitely starts with 12), the Castle is simply unbeatable.
In general, the tactics for playing as Inferno are as follows:
1. Start with a Pyre with a machine gun.
2. Find a quick stack and clear the respawn point with the machine gun. Usually, this stack consists of efreets, which quickly join the battle.
3. The main goal and strength of Inferno is to accumulate a strong strike force of demons. Any unnecessary low-level monsters are used for this... yes, it requires some effort and skill;).. but there are masters who have 300-400 demons on the 3rd week. With such a stack, it's easy to break Utopias :). In addition, pits can be used as unfinished archons to resurrect the army in reserves, which is a great help.
But I don't like playing as this Castle:... due to its specificity.
300 - 400 demons? You can even have a couple of thousand. Do you know how? You take and create a map where large armies are stationed and you run around with diplomacy, collecting them, or you make their character good-natured and that's it. I can do that too, and it doesn't require much skill.

I'm talking about a game against the computer, which will relentlessly attack through the wall!=))))):smile08:
and it's not necessary to defend against the Castle. You can, for example, defend against the Necropolis.

The main thing is numerical superiority!=))):smile08:
MY FRIEND EVEN PLAYS AS ELVES, HE CAPTURES CASTLES AND HIRES CREATURES OF THE 8TH LEVEL FROM ALL CASTLES. Well, you can't retrain him.
Your friend plays very poorly. It's not always profitable to hire all 7th-level creatures. Besides, you somehow got an 8th-level creature:D. It's not clear where it came from.
Regarding numerical superiority, are you joking or are you serious? If you're serious, then it's very foolish to say that.
Are you only playing against the computer? I advise you to play against strong players, so you have something to learn. Otherwise, I feel that you lack practice and lessons from experienced players. Seriously, find someone who plays well.;)

It seems like you're arguing with nothing... acceleration on dogs, demons, hellhounds... but you didn't take into account griffons with acceleration that will reach the magi in one turn and knock out half of them, and they will also respond to everyone who attacks? reckless archangels, 2 archers, who are 200% stronger than magi in terms of power. By the way, about the hole in the wall... only a fool will attack the Castle through a hole in the wall! You didn't take into account that the Castle in 80% of cases has a water expert... So imagine cavalry, which with the help of teleportation of creatures flies behind the wall of the Castle and destroys half the army! (well, the crusaders, due to the double attack, remain to protect the archers from the insatiable imps) =) so see who is in the plus and what happens =)

Please don't take my criticism too seriously. I am critical of myself and always striving for perfection, so I say this in advance so that no one is offended and does not take my criticism seriously. Thank you.
