Perhaps I drew the wrong conclusion due to a series of coincidences: IMHO, if a scroll is guarded by a horde (50-99) or a crowd (100-249) of level 1 or 2 units, there's a ~90% chance it's a level 4-5 scroll.

It's completely impossible to guess here. Maybe Quicksand will give them, or maybe Dimension Door, and the guards for these scrolls are the most diverse, from peasants to mythical dragons...

I have no online experience, but allow me to express my humble IMHO.
In some rules, using level 4 and 5 scrolls is forbidden entirely. There is some fairness in this, because when you simply build a guild, you are building it "on luck," whereas here you found Dimension Door and building the guild immediately becomes "justified" and you don't even need to run there...

P.S.: Personally, another point is unclear to me. Why is a Guild needed for wings, needed for scrolls, but not for magic books or pondor? Where is the logic? :confused:
