The question of joining clans.

1) What criteria are used when recruiting members into a clan? How and why?
2) Let's say I'm just some random guy from somewhere in Russia, and I want to walk around and brag that I'm a member of a Heroes 3 clan called "xxx"...
Will I ever be accepted into a clan, and if so, how? Is there some kind of trial game?

Frankly, I not only disagree but am also disappointed with the post written by the leader of one of the clans.
The only correct thing he wrote is that each clan has its own recruitment process, but this doesn't mean anything.
2) As for "bragging," a clan cannot give you any bonuses or privileges... you simply choose a clan to find a circle of communication or like-minded people with whom you will communicate more often and promote ideas or participate in tournaments.
P.S. At least, that's how it was originally intended and how it still is today. If the clans are planned to develop in a different direction in the future, then something might change... but for now, a clan is just a group of forum users.
