Also, it should be noted that on random maps, you often encounter Hive creatures, which are essentially Wyverns that can be defeated with minimal losses. And upgraded Gorgons are deadly against level 7 units. My multiplayer experience is limited to hotseat mode, but the Swamp map was very enjoyable.
