It can be done; there's a special program for it. I don't have it myself, ask Tador. BUT, you'll have a lot of work to do. It's not just about drawing the creature; you also need to create animations for every step, attack in melee combat (and ranged combat if it's a ranged attacker, and if it's also a spellcaster, then... I think you get the idea). In general, if you don't have the necessary skills and a lot of patience, it's not for you...
P.S.: Tador, post a couple of your modified monsters (personally, I only like the swordsman and the crusader; the others aren't very good).
