well, if that's the only reason, then I agree with you completely. I usually level up Fire Mastery, and Earth Mastery as well. So, in the very first turn, I can cast Bloodlust, although I rarely use this spell. Sometimes, instead of Fire, I level up Water and bless everyone at the beginning. After that, I become practically invincible. I always try to get Earth Mastery, primarily because of the town portal.
