You can quickly switch spells by teleporting to a Castle (and it’s easy to find the necessary neutral creatures, especially on generated maps). Luck can compensate for the lack of attack power (especially with the "Elven Luck" perk, which is quite good; if needed, you can boost attack with artifacts). Enemies will die quickly (especially when playing as Anven). This race is balanced, so it’s unlikely you’ll find specific counters to it (for example, playing as Inferno against Dungeon can be quite challenging).
